Sheida Hodge is an internationally recognised expert on global sales and customer service, communication, negotiation, and intercultural management. Recently she taught a course on cross-cultural communication and negotiation skills on the University of Washington Global Executive MBA programme. Ms. Hodge has authored a book: Global Smarts: The Art of Communicating and Deal Making Anywhere in the World, published by John Wiley & Sons. She has an MBA and a BS degree in Mathematics and 25 years’ business experience.
Ms. Hodge has conducted seminars and presented at conferences in Japan, China, Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Thailand, France, UK, Germany, Portugal, Italy, Hungary, the Czech Republic, the Netherlands, Belgium, Austria, Mexico and Brazil. She has also presented at major conferences such as ASTD, ERC and SHRM. Her recent clients include Hugo Boss, Honeywell, Colgate, Bayer and EuRA.
Ms. Hodge started her career with General Electric, where she gained international experience travelling to Asia, Europe, Latin America and the Middle East. More recently, she led Berlitz International’s Cultural Consulting Division as their Worldwide Managing Director.
With extensive business and consulting experience, Ms. Hodge brings in-depth knowledge in dealing with Japan, China, Thailand, Malaysia, the Netherlands, France, Germany, Brazil, Mexico and the United Sates. Her programmes are highly interactive, visual and humorous. Currently, she is the president of Hodge International Advisors, a training and consulting firm in Seattle, Washington.
