George Simons took the extraordinary step of creating a virtual consulting and training organization specialising in diversity and intercultural matters in 1992. As a pioneer in this field, he has helped numerous organisations to bridge the distances of time, space, technology and culture to form effective virtual teams, and design and deliver culturally sensitive eLearning solutions. While he lives in Mandelieu-la-Napoule in the south of France, George works worldwide from his cyberhome at http://www.diversophy.com, a portal for information and tools for managing culture and diversity in real as well as virtual contexts. He is a faculty member and member of the general management advisory board of Management Centre Europe in Bruxelles, and member of the editorial advisory board of The European Business Review. George Simons delivers seminars and training programmes addressing the intercultural challenges of working and learning virtually as well as face-to-face in the new economy. He is the creator and general editor of the DIVERSOPHY®series of intercultural training games, leading customized versions of the game at workshops and conferences.
