John Alexander has worked as an international management consultant and trainer since the early 1990s. An Australian national based in Sweden, he trains private-sector companies and public organisations, as well as lecturing at universities and business schools throughout Europe.

John has worked and lived for long periods in France and Iceland, and has travelled in the Middle East, the Far East, the US and in Europe, west and east. He trains and lectures in English and Swedish. Clients include Electrolux, Eka Chemicals and Scania, as well as many leading training and management institutes.

In 1998 John Alexander was nominated 'Speaker of the Year' by the Institute for International Research. He is a frequent guest on Swedish television and radio, debating subjects ranging from new management trends to media and cultural issues.

His books include How Swedes Manage, A Nordic Community? The Inside Story - How Storytelling Inspires Change in Companies Organisations and People, as well as university text books on media studies and general-market cinema titles.
