A lawyer by training, David Watkiss writes on a wide range of issues: antitrust, aviation, contract and business tort disputes, environmental litigation, franchise and intellectual property disputes, oil and gas litigation, professional liability, and securities litigation.
In his earlier US practice, David concentrated on complex commercial litigation at both the trial and appellate levels. In addition to judicial and administrative proceedings, he has experience resolving disputes through mediation and arbitration.
David Watkiss has lectured on various legal topics and has taught US trial practice. He has been on the ‘Best Lawyers in America’ list since 1991, and is a graduate of Stanford University and the Harvard Law School, where he served on the Harvard Law Review.
