A specialised information and communications technology (ICT) writer, Terry Davidson has always been involved with electronics and software since first working as a design engineer with a major defence group and then moving on to journalism with Microelectronics magazine.

He has worked as a campaign planner and copywriter for a very wide spectrum of public and private-sector organisations, the latter including CDC. He plans content and implements campaigns for mainframe companies, PC and server vendors, systems software and consumer software companies, and global telecommunications organisations across the private and government market sectors. His work has recently extended into the areas of eGovernment and IP convergence.

Terry Davidson was an associate partner in Esprit project 20183, Hoise-NM electronic news dissemination, in 1998-2000. With other partners in France, Spain, Italy, Holland, UK, Germany and Finland, he was involved in the creation and commercialisation of a web-based electronic news channel covering the high-performance computing and networking industry. The result, Primeur, is now a successful weekly electronic newsletter with a broadcast circulation of 15,000 around Europe. He speaks excellent French.
