Ting Zhang is the Founder & Managing Director of China Business Solutions Ltd based in Cambridge, England. She has 16 years experience of trading with and investing in China. Previously as General Manager of a Chinese import and export company with an annual turnover of US$30 million, Ting Zhang successfully built a nation-wide distribution networks for foreign electronic products and sports equipment, and gained extensive personal knowledge of Chinese business practices. Prior to founding China Business Solutions, she worked as a product manager for Standard Chartered Bank in London, overseeing the bank’s global products development with a specific China focus.
Ting Zhang’s recent consulting clients include many leading companies and government agencies in England and Europe. Her area of expertise covers China market entry strategy, partner selection, due diligence, IPR protection and China sourcing, and has personally carried out many in-house workshops about doing business in China. Ting is a regular speaker on all aspects of China at academic conferences and business seminars in UK, Europe and China, and has published various articles on issues related to trade with China.
Ting Zhang is highly regarded and recognised by the Chinese Government who regularly turn to her insight in helping to support Chinese businesses. Additionally, Ting is well known amongst UK officials and businesses as the leading advocate of opening trade with China.
Ting Zhang holds an MBA degree from the Judge Institute of Management Studies, Cambridge University, and a BA degree from Shanghai International Studies University. Ting is a native Chinese, fluent in English and many Chinese dialects and has lived in the UK for Eight years.
