AMCHAM BELGIUM Mission Statement

AmCham Belgium is dedicated to improving business and investment opportunities for US companies in Belgium and in the European Union.

AmCham Belgium facilitates business for American and other member companies through its lobbying, networking and knowledge-sharing activities.

Goals and Objectives

AmCham Belgium’s mission statement reflects its four goals:

- To be the voice of US business

- To influence Belgian/EU policy

- To recruit and retain members

- To increase business and investment in Belgium

AmCham's challenge is to add value for its members while remaining relevant to their diverse and changing needs. How to do so? AmCham's Board of Directors has formulated a framework of key activities that guide the chamber's six committees in their annual business plans and day-to-day actions:

Representing members' business interests to help shape policies;

Offering authoritative viewpoints to build understanding among authorities;

Providing alerts and proactive advice to the business community;

Strengthening AmCham's culture of networking opportunities;

Raising the profile of AmCham and increasing its visibility;

Encouraging feedback from inside and outside AmCham and acting upon it.

Within this framework, the Chamber develops strategies through implementation of networking and informative events and meetings, publications, committee expertise, research and services, among others.
