Jean-Luc Manise is an experienced ICT journalist, having developed the BMB Bureau Magazine monthly as a tool for IT and telecom decision-makers, leading to the function of managing editor of the BMB family of technical and professional magazines acquired by the Keesing group, then by Roularta. He was at the origins of the prestigious IT WINNERJean-Luc Manise prize and well-known user studies of the Digital, Sun and IBM (AS/400, RS/6000, etc.) platforms.

Specialised in comparative hardware, software and peripherals dossiers and in-depth articles in the ICT field, Jean-Luc now works as an expert and editorial consultant on technologies used in the non-profit sector, and collaborates regularly with various publications in the Roularta Group: Business ICT, Data News, Facilities and Technisch Management, as well as with other publishers (CXO, etc.).
