Fathi B’Chir

Of Belgian/Tunisian nationality, Fathi B’Chir is an experienced journalist, reporter and webmaster working in the field of international development. A graduate of the Paris Ecole Supérieure de Journalisme, he has spent more than 30 years working with international press agencies (Agence Europe, Marchés Tropicaux and Les Afriques), and edits and publishes the Medafrique website. His work has also included a range of major assignments for DG DEV, including coverage of the 1st EU-Africa Summit in 2000, country reports for all ACP States, press service coordination at international fairs, and the organisation of the conference launching the Agadir Agreement.
