Jon Eldridge

Jon Eldridge is a freelance journalist with an interest in environmental issues, eHealth and financial services. He has focused on the Commission-supported sustainable energy initiatives and LIFE environment projects, and has covered energy issues from an EU perspective for ICIS news. He has also followed initiatives to implement the EUs conservation directives and has contributed to the newsletter on Natura 2000, the Commission’s project to create a network of protected areas.

Jon is the editor of Europe Connect, the monthly newsletter of the Million Dollar Round Table, a membership organisation for top-level insurance and financial services firms. He is also the English-language editor of the Quarterly Bulletin of banking group Unico. He has written for the European Banking Federation and ING. For three years, he was editor of the quarterly magazine of the American Chamber of Commerce in Belgium.

A former contributor to Hospital magazine and editor of Imaging Management, Jon specialises in the healthcare IT sector. He is a copywriter and editor for the Healthcare Information Management Systems Society (HIMSS EMEA).
